Salvatore's "Signature Heart Collection" represents the passion with which he embraces life. As he believes, "Painting is a mission or a calling in my life." Salvatore's first commercial success came in the windows and showrooms of Bergdorf Goodman's stores. His sculptures, which captivated the art buyers for the store, were equally appealing to Jackie Caputo, the owner of a large, New York art showroom. She fell in love with the Bergdorf display, and began a mission to find Salvatore. As luck, or destiny, would have it, Salvatore walked in to Caputo's showroom, art book in hand, searching for a place to display his craft. Chance? Perhaps. Synchronicity more likely. Regardless, ,Caputo snatched up Salvatore's entire collection on the spot, and began showing it to New York's finest critics and dealers. As Salvatore remembers, "from that point, my credibility in the world of art became more established."

As Salvatore's work became more in demand, ,his popularity spiraled, with purchasers such as Donald Trump, Andre Agassi, Gwen Stefani, Adam Sandler, Cameron Diaz, Patti Labelle, Andy Roddick, Jennifer Capriatti and the late Miles Davis, just to name a few. The creation of his hearts is a wonderful labor of love.

Salvatore's unique ability to see life through the heart of a child, allows him to capture the magic and innocence, so intrinsic to love. To borrow from a favorite author of Salvatore, Antoine de Saint Exupery, "It is only through the heart that one sees rightly: what is essential is invisible to the eye." Much like "The Little Prince", ,Salvatore believes, "It is through the heart one finds their bliss". With his brush, and from his heart, Salvatore shares his bliss, joy and positive energy with the world.
